Just one day after its official release, Edward Kleins new book about Hillary Clinton has reached the No.2 spot on Amazon.coms list of best sellers.
"The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far Shell Go to Become President shot past David McCulloughs blockbuster work "1776 to take the second spot.
The book has created a firestorm of controversy, and while Clinton has tried to downplay its impact, early sales have been going through the roof.
Only one book tops Kleins book on the best-seller list: "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Friends of Hillary Clinton is probably trying to buy up all the books to keep them out of circulation... ;-)
I'd love to see this book outsell both Bill and Hillary's "biographies".
Good. I got to get me one too. Too many in the media won't give him the time to promote it. With me, that's a sure seller......
Klein will probably donate 50% of the money to the DNC.
Read the reviews off of amazon :) I always get a quick out of liberals who call things biased.
Warning the reviews are for the folks that can hop on over to DU and have a laugh at the idiots there. The reviews (most of them) are not for people who just get pissed at the stupid things people actually believe (i fall into that category ;) I could only read 5 or so)
The author seems to be a New York liberal of sorts.
don't get sucked in folks - this is a trojan horse designed to innoculate her against future allegations as part of the 2008 race.
I bet the Amazon reviews are going to be a hoot to read!
I disagree. Read and enjoy! There's nothing more entertaining than bashing Hillary. She's enough to make even Bubba look good.
It's a bit premature to say the book is merely a ploy to innoculate Hillary against her election bid. After all, there's no way to say if the book is accurate or not, since the actual book has never been discussed and few people have read it.
Books stand or fall according to what's written in them. I, for one, will read it for myself and make up my own mind about it.
I have enjoyed watching the libs tell us how Kitty Kelly is a jouralist and Klein is not.
"I'd love to see this book outsell both Bill and Hillary's "biographies."
Wouldn't that be just desserts! But she'll probably claim it's just another VRWC.
The real story is the difference in how certain books are treated by our cultural elites.
Kitty Kelley - 3 days on the Today Show
(they wouldn't give 3 days to Hemingway if he returned from the grave)
Ed Klein - 0 days on any show (other than Hannity, and he doesn't count as he is a right-winged kook)
I realize that Klein's book has a lot of titillting stuff in it. I just hope that he back up whatever trumped up charges the Clinton camp will look to sue him for.
However it's #1 in Non-Fiction. #2 overall.
Politicians don't sue. The Clinton's *might* try to get someone else mentioned in the book to sue.
"I have enjoyed watching the libs tell us how Kitty Kelly is a jouralist and Klein is not."
LOL!
I gotta chuckle outta that, myself. ;o)
I did my part, it's on the way from Amazon to my house.
