The Henry VIII was my fave chapter, along with the science in the time of Copernicus chapter. I usually average a book a week; this one took me two months. I thought I was well-versed in history until I read it! :) Now I'm hooked and need to pick up the other volumes.
You can often find complete, or near-complete sets in used books stores, usually in pretty good condition. I got mine free when I joined a book club years ago. I've found them comforting to read. It's good to know that people have always been as stupid, greedy and evil as they are now. And I love WD's occasional humorous insights.
