And Valknin should know. He is a self-professed narcissist. I read him when I was studying BPD. I had a very dear friend who was both borderline and narcissistic. I remember joking with the social worker and telling her I thanked God that my friend was borderline as it was the only thing that tempered the narcissism.

However, although I have not read this particular Valknin book, it needs pointing out that there is much more to pedophilia than simple narcissism.

The Michael Jackson Complex is an obvious fixation on mutilation of and deviance with human anatomy in the media. It is indicative of a societal mental illness that caters to the lowest common denominator and generated with Pavlovian behavioral conditioning in popular culture.
