Respect for All: Kevin Jennings raises awareness for LGBT students.
NEA (where gays are in and Christians are out) ^ | Spring 2005

Posted on 06/13/2005 8:12:45 AM PDT by worldclass

I sort of came out in sixth grade, but like a lot of kids who get harassed for "being gay," it wasn't anything about my sexuality that prompted the harassment. It was because I was a boy who did his homework and paid attention in class and did all the things boys weren't supposed to do. I was harassed relentlessly through my junior high and high school years.

I made a little promise to myself right there, and said, "I will do whatever I can so that the next generation has it better than we had it." So, I started GLSEN.

So he was harassed for being a good student rather than an immoral pervert? But yet somehow it all related to being an immoral pervert so he decided to deceive all future generations that sodomy is good.

What a story!! And the NEA gives him a forum.

Bringing his knitting to the Glee Club try outs probably didn't help much either.

But, that is what the NEA does! If it is anti-Christian, Anti-American or will get bored senior teachers out of the damn classrooms, they'll go for it.

Freaks-Need-Special-Consideration programs will allow hundreds of the marginal teachers to get into a new crusade, claim premium salaries and extra training. These new crusades are OK for any subject that doesn't make Christianity or America look OK.

Might as well FReep their little poll too. The question is 'Should students be taught that the USA is better than other countries?' So far it's 32% no, 68% yes.

Now it's 35-65. All you have to do is keep hitting F5 and Return.

What a load. He is trying to propaganda "good student" or "good child" equals homosexual.

He is nothing but a pedophile recruiter of victims.

Homosexuals have no place around children and especially in the high schools and lower grades.

It amazes me how quickly and how well they snuck transgender freaks into the mix.

Despite what these people would have you think, transgender is still viewed as a disorder - but don't yoo DARE say so in a public school.

I'm disgusted beyond words.

In absolute terms we only need 800 votes to even things up.

NEA's mission:

"NEA is 2.7 million members working to provide great public schools"

And that is the problem. The want to provide "great public schools" and not a great education to all students.

notice how it USED to be GLBT?

However they were being called GiLBerTs and the word "gilbert" was short for sexual deviants.

The only discussion of homosexuality in the schools should be that it is a choice, and a choice which is unacceptable in society from a scientific and health/sanitation basis.

"Today, the average LGBT high school student comes out between 15 and 17. So they're coming out in school systems that have no more policies than they did when I was in high school, with teachers who have no more training."

Well that's interesting. In my high school, in the mid seventies in Long Island, I can remember lots of gay students. Of course, most of the ones that came out are dead now.

Seems there was this Gay disease that kills you going around in NYC bathhouses at that time, but no one knew it existed.

In my class, as of my last reunion I went to 15 years ago, 19 gay students died of AIDS.

Among his words were that he "did all the things boys weren't supposed to do." That cuts a pretty wide swath. Maybe he wore lipstick and dresses, etc.
