Moonbat puts F DUBYA license plate up for sale on eBay
Ramblings' Journal ^ | 6.8.05 | Michael King

Remember the story about the moonbat with the F DUBYA California plate last fall?

Well there's another one. This time in Washington state.

This time, the moonbat in question drove around for four months until a bureaucrat forced him to get a different plate.

He's decided to put it up for sale on eBay.

This is an original license plate accidentally issued by the State of Washington.

I had this plate on my car for 4 months before receiving a letter from the DOL informing me that they determined my plate to be "Offensive to good taste and decency."

This is a used plate but in excellent condition. No scratches or dents. It is a one of a kind. Well, actually 2 of a kind. I'm keeping the other one. You can have either the front one pictured, or the rear plate with the actual tabs so you have proof that it is an authentic, state issued plate.

As I type this, 70 bidders have pushed the bidding price is at $1275, and there's nearly four days left in the auction.

Bid early and bid often...

Depends on the state.

I wonder if the seller will keep the profits?

I think he should:
a. redistrubute that wealth to his poorer neighbors
b. contribute it all to stem cell research
c. travel to Iraq to assist with humanitarian aid
d. give it all his local PBS/NPR station

P.S. How can this be legal? In NY, I'm certain you cannot transfer plates for a profit; only the motor vehicle bureau is authorized to

LOL! I was thinking that the type of person that would buy this plate would probably rip the guy off.

It took me like 2 minutes to find a website that will make the same vanity plate for $24.95
I guess liberals are just not very resourceful.

One problem with that vanity plate site:

Plates measure 6" x 12".

That should be a standard auto size plate.

Saw that the other day and brought the story back up:

Here's an excerpt from a letter the state of Washington's Department of Licensing sent to the license plate's seller, explaining why it was unsafe at any speed:

The Department of Licensing has received several complaints regarding your license plate FDUBYA. The personalized license plate committee reviewed all the documentation and decided to cancel your plate because the message is offensive to good taste and decency.

Yes it's my real plate, and it drives the Bay Area Moonbats crazy.

Don't sweat it. We usually think things are larger than they are. Common problem.
