Love Bon but also love Brian.

Hard to think of another group (Deep Purple?) that changed frontmen and kept their audience, sound and quality.

My enthusiasm for Back In Black hasn't wavered a bit since I heard it all those years ago. I can say that of only two other albums REM/Murmur and The Stone Roses/The Stone Roses (doubt either of those will crack the top 5 though).

They are one of the only bands where you can play a song from their early albums and later albums side-by-side, and not notice any real difference in sound. they haven't evolved. Which is a good thing! No 180 degree turns into disasterous experimentaion, no "finding Bhuddism", "the maharishi", or any other excursion into "spirituality" that ultimately screws up the music...

They are like a big-assed, beat up, smoke belching muscle car that just keeps running and running. Shooting flames out of the exhaust, waking neighbors, scaring old people and small children, AC/DC keeps on rocking down the Highway to Hell!!!

Pink Floyd. OK, so their sound changed a *little* after Syd was fired, but they only became more popular. I'd say Genesis, but you really can't compare the Gabriel years to the Collins years. Two separate bands that shared a name and a rhythm section. I won't even go into the whole Fleetwood Mac thing...

Remember a song by The Stone Roses, "Love Spreads", back in my grunge-rocker days... yeah, I was cool... Wore a Seattle Supersonics ball cap because I loved Seattle bands so much. I was in my early 20's back in the early 90's. It was a great time, never fell for any of the Liberal Lyrics, just loved the music, especially Alice In Chains.
