Transgender Madness Goes Prime Time & Gets A Boost From Radicals In Congress
Traditional Values Coalition ^ | May 27, 2005

Posted on 06/08/2005 12:34:25 AM PDT by Antioch

The Sundance Channel, in cooperation with LOGO, a homosexual-themed cable network created by VIACOM is airing an eight-part series on so-called sex change operations in September, 2005. LOGO launches on June 30. The show, “TransGeneration” will follow the lives of four sexually confused college students who believe they are the opposite sex. Each of them undergoes a so-called sex change operation.

According to male-to-female transgender Denise Leclair, executive director of the International Foundation for Gender Education, he/she hopes this show “breaks down some barriers for the transgender community…. There is a lack of visible role models, and the transition is a difficult thing, especially for younger people.”

“TransGeneration” is being produced by World of Wonders (WOW) Productions, which plans an advanced showing of the show in San Francisco on June 23. WOW’s Jeremy Simmons directs the series. Simmon’s latest credits include “Inside Deep Throat” and “Party Monster.” World Of Wonder has also produced several shows about homosexuality, including “Gay Hollywood.”

WOW’s online manifesto states: “We at World of Wonder pride ourselves on being champions of the eccentric, the bizarre, the kooky, the outlandish, the subversive, the outcast, and all things that exist on the fringe of society. We believe that the underground of today is the mainstream of tomorrow, and that the true innovators of the present are found not at the crest of pop culture, but lie just underneath, creating the groundswell for the next great wave. It is our goal to bring into the spotlight those people and ideas that now reside at the edge of civilization.”

“TransGeneration” is yet another attempt by homosexuals and their allies to normalize what is a serious mental health issue. Individuals who believe they are the opposite sex are in need of deep therapeutic help, not societal approval for this Gender Identity Disorder. The surgical mutilation of a person’s body is not the way to deal with what is a mental problem.

The Insanity Spreads In May, 2004, the International Olympics Committee ruled that so-called transgendered individuals could compete in opposite sex events if they could prove they had taken hormones for two years and they had their “new” sex officially recognized. This insanity will make it more difficult for women to compete in events where male-to-female individuals are involved.

And in New York City in April, 2005, Pauline Park, a man who is a transgender activist but has not had a sex change operation, won the right to use women’s restrooms in that city. Park describes himself as a “male bodied woman” and heads the New York Association of Gender Rights Advocacy. He claims that his biological sex is different than his “gender identity” so he should be free to use women’s restrooms.

This kind of insanity will only spread if Congress passes legislation that adds “gender identity” as a protected class.

Congress Joins The Rush To Normalize Gender Identity Confusion On May 26, Democrat homosexual legislators and their Republican allies in the U.S. Congress introduced the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005. This legislation will add “gender identity” as a newly protected class if a federal crime is committed based on someone’s perceived gender identity (cross dresser, drag queen, and transsexual).

The legislation was sponsored by homosexual Representatives Tammy Baldwin and Barney Frank as well as Reps. Ileanna Ros-Lehtinen, John Conyers, and Christopher Shay.

The Hate Crimes Prevention Act will be used by homosexual and transgender activists to embed “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” into federal law as protected classes. It is likely that this legislation is simply a Trojan Horse to get these behaviors protected under federal law.

This legislation is a rehash of previous legislation introduced every year for the past decade by Ted Kennedy and other pro-homosexual legislators. In 2004, this legislation was called the Local Law Enforcement Enhancement Act (LLEEA) and was allegedly designed to help local officials deal with “hate crimes.”

The LLEEA was reintroduced as the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005 in January, 2005 by Texas liberal Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee. Now, it is being reintroduced again, but now includes federal protection for individuals who believe they are the opposite sex.

TVC’s report, “Hate Crime Legislation: Unequal Protection Under The Law” describes the dangers of all pro-homosexual hate crime bills. Hate crime laws criminalize thought, threaten free speech, freedom of association, and freedom of religious belief.

In addition, sexual behaviors do not deserve federal protection any more than smoking deserves federal protection. These deviant behaviors are not genetically based and can be controlled and cured. Likewise, a person who is confused about his gender needs counseling, not federal protection under hate crime laws.

TVC’s report, “A Gender Identity Disorder Goes Mainstream” details the political and social agenda being pushed by transgender/homosexual activists. Download and distribute this important document.

During the past five years, both the House of Representatives and the Senate have passed hate crime legislation in some form giving special class status to homosexual sodomy and “gender identity.” In the House it was a non-binding vote. In the Senate, the language was removed in conference committee before being sent to the President for his signature.

If this LOGO gay network can hold it's own commercially, I say rots' o ruck'. I personally have my doubts that most gays out there want to ghettoize themselves like that. Seeing as network and cable TV has got gay-themed shows up the wazoo already.

What I don't like is that these sex-change documentaries (and we have already been treated to a ton of them on the Discovery Channel, etc. never do any follow-up and see just how many of these unfortunates come to bitterly regret what they've done to themselves. I wonder in New York still forces Medicaid to pay for sex-changes like they have for years now.

I fail to see how putting the spotlight on these ("mentally"?) ill individuals and instilling disgust in conservative America will break "down some barriers for the transgender community". But hey, it's there dream -- let 'em make it as big as they want to. I only hope their videos will do as much for them as Howard Dean has done for the D.N.C.

Pauline Park may soon earn further distinction as the first sexually ambiguous individual to be savagely "bashed" to death by women instead of men. Don't tell me women can't get just as threatened and outraged.

"I personally have my doubts that most gays out there want to ghettoize themselves like that..."

Well, I dunno, the ones I've dealt with practically have a secret handshake (insert joke here, so to speak...).

That raises a side issue: nobody with a lick of sense claims a monolithic political outlook for any other minority group; why should they be any different? There're enough pro-abortion, pro-drug-decriminalization, pro-evolution Republicans around - you can go to just about any thread here and find proponents on both sides.

I think the problem they have with the GOP is they claim they want "tolerance." This is nonsense, they want APPROVAL, a "clean different thing."

Strange, most gays I know seem to feel the era of "secret handshakes" has gone the way of the Salem Witch trials. It's funny, there are so many parallels to other "movements". Older, embittered gays are mad at the younger generation for not appreciating their noble sacrifices and being more interested in living their lives than waving banners.

The uptight ones are mad at the laid back ones for not making their sexuality the be-all and end-all of their existence and shoving it in people's faces 24/7. I know there's been some agonized editorial soul-searching at the surprising numbers of self-identified gays who voted republican this time around but hey, If it was me I'd be a hell of a lot more concerned about social security reform, health insurance reform, tax reform, etc., than "marriage" or the anti-discrimination bill du jour.

In my humble opinion, the problem is that the gay "movement" is so totally dominated by angry, vengeful individuals who are forever trying to get back at whoever bullied them on the playground or at family rejection and are taking out on society at large.

A phantasmagoric fetish, based on belief. The idolatry of perversion, a cult movement...

Morality and all of its associated concepts are from the belief that some higher power is defining the correctness of human behavior. Today, "morals" are a religious pagan philosophy of esoteric hobgoblins where transfiguration is from pantheons of fantasies as the medium of infinitization. Others get derision for having an unwavering Judaic belief in Yahweh or Yeshua, although their critics will evangelize insertion of phantasmagoric fetishisms into secular law.

Was Freudian psychoanalytic theory of sexual stages in psychological development more accurate than accredited? The Michael Jackson Complex is an obvious fixation on mutilation of and deviance with human anatomy in the media. It is indicative of a societal mental illness that caters to the lowest common denominator and generated with Pavlovian behavioral conditioning in popular culture.

Should we really be canonizing special societal privileges in the law based on a person's idolatrous fetishes? Perhaps civil union advocates could conclave to enshrine their own phantasmal state religion and consecrate Michael Jackson as its first Ecumenical Pope!

Methuen school faces parents' queries on student's gender issue

Officials back girl who seeks treatment as boy
By Tracy Jan, Globe Staff | March 5, 2005

Dozens of parents flooded the Methuen school system with phone calls yesterday after a local newspaper reported that a fourth-grade girl had returned from the February school break requesting to be treated as a boy.

...

The story has attracted the attention of local and national media, including a half-dozen television stations, according to Superintendent Phillip Littlefield, who spent most of yesterday fielding parent and media calls.

...

Littlefield said the child has asked to be called a masculine version of his name, which the superintendent declined to disclose, upon the family's request. Other than that, nothing has changed, he said, and most of the 1,100 students at the Comprehensive Grammar School are taking the situation in stride. The child has not undergone sexual reassignment surgery, he said.

''For the kids who aren't close to him, it was Phyllis and now it's Phillip," said Littlefield, using other names for examples. ''And it's OK. They want to know what's for lunch."

...

In 1999, Brockton school officials barred a 15-year-old student who is biologically male, but identifies as female, from attending school dressed in girl's clothing. A school psychologist diagnosed the student with transgendered disorder when the teenager was 13, in seventh grade, and the student started wearing makeup, skirts, wigs, and padded bras to school. The state Appeals Court upheld a Superior Court ruling in 2000 that a transgender male student can wear female clothing to class.

...

Littlefield said the school has made appropriate accommodations for the child at the parents' request, but he said he has promised the parents confidentiality and could not be more specific. If students bring home questions that parents cannot answer, he said, they should call the school to speak to a staff member familiar with gender identity issues.

...

“TransGeneration” is yet another attempt by homosexuals and their allies to normalize what is a serious mental health issue.

From what I understand the documentry is to inform people, not 'normalize'.

But if I remember correctly, the "Traditional Values Coalition" did a study a few years ago on transsexuals that did not include any input from transsexuals.

The TVC likes to preach with their collective head in the sand.

Of what? That the differences between a man and a woman are essentially a handful of hormones and an afternoon in the surgical theatre? Will they discuss the danger of cancer and heart disease after long-term exposure to exogenous hormones? No. Will they give statistics on "successful" transexuals and mental health, substance abuse or suicide? No. Will they discuss the various religious perspectives on the nature and destiny of men and women? No. That they call the woman "he" or the man "she halfway through the series (based on the fictitious concept of "gender identity") exposes their hypothesis: The sex of a person is a "political construct" not a given in nature. I call it propaganda, designed to normalize a mental disorder. Just a thought

Considering your above question shows a lack a lot of medical knowledge on the subject. I have to ask, how much do you know about transsexuals?
