Florida's Katherine Harris to run for the Senate in 2006 Tuesday June 07, 2005
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Republican Rep. Katherine Harris, who as Florida's secretary of state was both praised and vilified for her part in the 2000 presidential recount, said Tuesday she will run for the Senate next year against Democrat Bill Nelson.

Why are you so intent on making dirt on her appearance?
Nobody did that to you when you Ran for office late last year.
Lets stick with the issues.

Don't you have anything better to do than follow me around? You did it enough last year, time for you to grow up and stalk someone else.

I heard it third or fourth person........but it is 55% reliable
If Nelson's thinking of bailing out, it's probably influenced by the recent polls showing him under 50% against all major Republican contenders, a dangerous scenario for an incumbent running for re-election. I suspect the Florida electorate is apathetic towards him (his 2000 opponent, Bill McCollum, ran a poor campaign), and probably doesn't have the passion to put him back in office.

You are probably correct on this point. I'll update when I get more firm intel.

When Ms. Harris backed off from her plan to run for the Senate seat that Martinez then won, I figured that the RNC made her a promise, i.e., Pass on this one and let Mel run. When the next socialist Senator comes up for a vote, we'll back you with people and money like you could only dream of.
Her time has come and I say Go Katherine Go. I live in Sarasota and this is going to set the local Dims to howling, probably beginning in tomorrow's papers - I'm looking forward to reading their sputtering rage in the Letters section. Ha ha ha!

Sorry to disappoint you, but you only interest me when I happen across one of your posts going over the line bashing posters or electable candidates.
If you don't want to be called on your bitter complaints about other women's looks, don't post them.
Good job on the talking points.
