Yale grades portray Kerry as a lackluster student

During last year's presidential campaign, John F. Kerry was the candidate often portrayed as intellectual and complex, while George W. Bush was the populist who mangled his sentences.

But newly released records show that Bush and Kerry had a virtually identical grade average at Yale University four decades ago.

Bush had received a cumulative score of 77 for his first three years at Yale and a roughly similar average under a non-numerical rating system during his senior year.

Kerry, who graduated two years before Bush, got a cumulative 76 for his four years, according to a transcript that Kerry sent to the Navy when he was applying for officer training school. He received four D's in his freshman year out of 10 courses, but improved his average in later years.

Listening to John Kerry speak for less than a minute would leave anyone with the impression that John Kerry is boring, as well as uninformed. His only interest is what our enemies have to say and what will weaken the country he claims to support. John Kerry and his adopted Cousins, (The Kennedy's) have done more harm to this country that any Soviet Leader could ever fathom

Congressman Billybob, I thought you might find this article interesting esepcially considering you were a classmate of John Kerry at Yale.

"The transcript shows that Kerry's freshman-year average was 71. He scored a 61 in geology, a 63 and 68 in two history classes, and a 69 in political science. His top score was a 79, in another political science course. Another of his strongest efforts, a 77, came in French class"

He is not even a strong french student..FRAUD!

I love all good socialists and spokespeople for the working classes who own two Lear jets, a bank account and assets worth $167 million, and a wife worth 4 times that. He may have dunced out in most courses at Yale, but hey, you have to admit that Kerry really excels in one important characteristic of human wisdom: his deep understanding of "humility".

Good summary.

"Lackluster" is a very appropriate word to describe him in everything.

Well, I had noticed that, despite his notoriety, Kerry didn't get into any Ivy League law schools.

Mr. Kerry, you were supposed to take Geography, not Geology, if you want to rule the world!

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THE GLOBE JUST CHANGED THE TITLE FROM

"Yale grades portray Kerry as a lackluster student", (which is what it was a few minutes ago, when I posted this thread),

TO:

"Transcript shows Kerry's Yale grades similar to Bush"

Oops, I guess not -- they apparently have two very similar articles in the globe.

The one I postes still has the same title:

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2005/06/07/yale_grades_portray_kerry_as_a_lackluster_student/

And the other:

It sounds like neither one of them, Bush OR Kerry, were rocket scientist material...
