Churchill also has said on several occasions that a "post surgeon" or an "Army doctor" told the Indians to take refuge in their home communities - which he alleges helped spread the disease - and that the military locked away the vaccine that could have saved Indian lives.

Churchill says these events occurred in 1837. Yet the military did not have stores of smallpox vaccine until 1915.

Churchill should know this, since the introduction of smallpox vaccine stores to the US military was an African-American achievement - a black medical student named Louis Wright hit upon the idea while he was serving his country in WWI.
