As an Eagle Scout I would agree that the "intolerence" by the ACLU and other organizations is horrible given the Scouts desire to uphold this creed. In a society that is carelessness (created by the ACLU) about the scouts regularly and selflessly meet the needs of others with out any though of compensation. These sacrifices while small bring out the best in people.

As for allowing homosexual petafiles to hold positions in the troop.. They should NOT be allowed because they would place the scouts in danger. One does not play russian roulette with the safety of a child.

Each court victory that the ACLU obtains further drains BSA resources while forcing the organization further to the margins of "polite society", as defined by the government. All non-governmental social organizations (churches, families, etc.) are under similar assault. Big Brother doesn't want anybody competing for your loyalty.
