Suspected member of Al-Fatah arrested in Falls Church

Posted on 06/03/2005 9:56:19 AM PDT by elc

This came from a friend of mine in DHS:

Immigration Charge A man arrested Tuesday at a Starbucks in Falls Church has been charged with immigration fraud for allegedly failing to disclose on his application for U.S. citizenship that he had been a member of two terrorist organizations, officials said. Maher Amin Jaradat, 43, of Falls Church was a member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Al-Fatah, the military arm of the Palestine Liberation Organization, according to an affidavit filed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The indictment filed against Jaradat was unsealed Tuesday. He faces a detention hearing tomorrow in U.S. District Court in Alexandria.

I live in No. Virginia and you are correct. This place is a bastion for liberals.

They have also arrested several people here with Islamic-terror ties...

Actually I looked it up, and it's 60%. But I'd swear you'd never know it talking to most of the people I've ever met in the City.

The place is full of socialists. I'm sitting about 10 miles from it right now. Thankfully I live well west of here.

Oh, did I forget to mention that?! Must have been an oversight, I'll have my secretary amend that, give me your number and she'll call you in the morning.

Now...... what can we do about putting you in this shiney, new 2005 BMW tonight?!

So that makes it about 55% that voted Dem? I said I was basing my comment based on observations of having lived around FC for 15 years. I was wrong. But the numbers you posted are hardly 96!.

the 96 numer are the percentage that "Citizen fo a better city" (DEMOCRATS) got in the city council election. The presidential numbers actually work out to 65.8% democratic.

I have lived in the city all my life, with a few exceptions (time in the army, etc.)
