B.C. ping to a a horribly irresponsible birth control ad.
So if any teenage daughters catch AIDS due to this, can parents sue Ortho?

Interesting. Good job on the research!
I know I'm in the minority, but I find these ads offensive.

In some surreal alternative reality fantasy universe, yes.

So if any teenage daughters catch AIDS due to this, can parents sue Ortho? There's normally a disclaimer on the ad that the patch does not protect against HIV, blah, blah, blah. So, technically, they've been warned. At least, that's what the drug companies will say.
Unbelievable. I've hated those ads since they came out a few years ago.

Actually the actor playing the doctor says on camera that the product will not protect you from aids or any other stds. I would have expected to see that in a text disclaimer at the bottom of the screen, not as part of the script.
I don't necessarily like the commercial played at all times of the day, but prevention is better than abortion.

So if any teenage daughters catch AIDS due to this, can parents sue Ortho? Are you really this clueless? Or is this entire thread a joke?

If you believe that your (or anyone's) daughter got aids because of this commercial you shouldn't have had kids.

So if any teenage daughters catch AIDS due to this, can parents sue Ortho?Sounds like a tough case, FUE. But, you're right about one thing - there is no ring there. Good catch!!
Thanks for the ping. ;-)
