This guy'd been on a respirator and heart-lung machine for most of a year. Makes me wonder what happened for the Saudis to finally decide he was dead.

Wow!

I predict a massive power struggle amongst his family for control, and perhaps a bit of protest for democracy.

This shouldn't have much of an effect on the kingdom. He's been as-good-as-dead for quite some time. The crown prince has been running the show for years.

He's pretty much been a vegetable since his stroke in 1995. But still this raises the specter of a power struggle.

Stable, peaceful governments are a gift from above. I pray for all concerned that righteousness and truth will prevail.

Eddie Albert was a much bigger loss.

The reports of Koran mishandling must have done him in.

As opposed to his unofficial death?

I will guess that Prince Nayef will try to obliterate
Crown Prince Abdullah. He'll be caught. Then all the
Wahabbis will riot. Abdullah is not a merciful man.
