I remember reading that "pedophiles" molest prepubescent children, but that the priest scandal generally involved pubescent (but minor) children, almost all (or just ALL) boys.

I don't know for sure. In fact I'd rather not think about the subject.

But I have no doubt that the MSM has put the most damning (excuse the pun) spin possible on this.

They do. It's too bad that most people don't seem to fact-check on line. Most people at work think the abuse problem had to do with pedophilia, the solution being married priests.
