Subject: P-3 Rework Facility raided by INS
Here is an interesting news bit:

Reports say agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement office made the arrests at Aerospace Manufacturing, Incorporated. They believe all those arrested were working illegally in the United States.
The "Operation Shield America" raid at Smith-Reynolds Airport is aimed at finding illegal aliens doing work for the Pentagon.
Reports also said that those arrested were working on P-3 Orions - survelliance planes known as "submarine killers."
The suspects are in the Forsyth County Jail, and may be deported to their home countries in the United Kingdom later this week.
The arrests come two months after federal authorities arrested 27 workers at the Piedmont/Triad International Airport in Greensboro for using counterfeit documents.

We have canceled the contract with AMI and are in the process of getting the three P-3s (two active, 1 reserve) that are at AMI in a flyable status. This is going to shift the SSI/ESSI schedule around until we find another contractor.
On a personal note, I had a bad feeling about this company when we send our first plane to it. No POCs, Google brought up nothing and the guy we talked to could barely speak english and had some weird foreign name (we just called him Abu). A few weeks ago we got a phonecall from 'upstairs' suspending induction of aircraft to AMI until further notice.

Those illegals working on those aircraft are not getting minimum wage. Tell us again how illegals are only doing the work Americans don't want to do.

Until we start imprisoning the employers of illegals, this will only get worse. The financial greed of saving a buck by employing illegals will override security concerns in many instances for too many employers.

One way to avoid this is to send the aircraft to Mexico for servicing, that way there will be no illegals involved and surely it will be much cheaper than if performed by those unionized American thugs.
In other news, President Bush reporting on this matter stated he hoped to give these illegals "legal" status shortly, allow them to get SS benefits, full medical care under SS, and become green card carrying voters for the RINOcratic party.

This selective enforcement by ICE against illegals working on military installations is just a sham by the Administration to make us feel like they are doing something and making us safer.
The truth is that the illegals are working in numerous industries where a terrorist, posing as a Mexican could do us grievous harm. A few months ago, there was a scandal in Colorado where illegals were getting commercial drivers licenses. Think what a semi with a tandem rig of gasoline could do as a weapon! And do you remember when Tommy Thompson resigned from his cabinet position that almost his last words were to express amazement that the terrorists had not attacked our highly vulnerable food supply. Illegals dominate our meat processing and vegetable businesses. A terrorist could easily infiltrate and give bad chicken a whole new meaning.
These silly raids at military bases are just showboating. The government needs to get serious about broad enforcement of our laws against hiring illegals.
