An Ohio lawyer is accused of raping a 4-month-old infant and photographing himself during the heinous act — then going on the lam and vanishing in Manhattan, where he's feared to be still preying on little kids, The Post has learned.
"He is a very real and dangerous threat to young children," Assistant Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Cathy Jones said of John Dallas Lockhart, 36.
"We believe he is still in the New York area. We are convinced he is continuing his sexual assaults."
Chillingly, Lockhart — a lawyer who records show is the son-in-law of a former Ohio state senator — has young kids, a son, 4, and daughter, 2. His wife, Laurie, is divorcing him.
The accused pedophile landed on the marshal's 15 Most Wanted list — reserved for the nation's worst offenders — after he fled his Ohio home in August, steps ahead of cops.
They seized his home computer and found sickening pictures of the baby rape among more than 100 porn photos, authorities said.
Facing possible life in prison, Lockhart hopped a Greyhound to New York.

He has been missing since August. I heard this story on Howard Stern this morning. They really have to get this guy. I can't believe they waited until now to put him on the Most Wanted list.
If he's got pictures why the hell are they calling him the accused? How much proof do we need before we can execute this guy?? SHEESH!!! If I were his wife I'd be disappearing without a trace right about now.

Lockhart fled to New York when he found out the police had his computer. His whereabouts since then are unknown. If he is convicted of the pending charges, Lockhart faces a maximum punishment of multiple life sentences in prison.
Lockhart is well-educated, lived briefly in England, and has traveled throughout Europe. He is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 185 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
“This case is particularly disturbing due to the nature of the offenses,” said Cathy Jones, Assistant Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal in the Northern District of Ohio. “Lockhart should be considered a threat to the health and welfare of young children,” she said, “and anyone with information about his whereabouts should understand he must be apprehended. We need your help.”
Lockhart’s name was added to the internationally famed “15 MOST WANTED” list after the detective bureau of the Akron Police Department sought help from the Marshals’ Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF).
Marshals are offering a cash reward for information leading to Lockhart’s arrest, and all information is kept confidential. If you have any information about John D. I have read many stories over the past few years about baby rape, but it usually happens in Africa under UN supervision.
