Thanks to "reality" TV, we can now watch all kinds of sick stuff on TV that is meant to "inform". Since people people are being blown up, shot, and having terrible accidents in "news" and "documentaries" all over TV, and people are eating it up like there's no tomorrow, the media figures that they should be able to show this kind of stuff going on in Iraq, too.

This is how the media effectively killed support of Vietnam: they showed gruesome footage every night with Walter Kronkite moaning about how awful, immoral, and unwinnable the war was. Media treachery knows no bounds.

The Silent Majority of the VN war is gone. We are silent no longer. The first picture of one of our guys just may backfire on them. There would be such a furious outcry across the land to kill the enemy by any means necessary...no more Mr Nice Guy. The msm should review this possibility. We are still a violent people when provoked and pictures of our dead will provoke....just not the way they hope.
