Shouldn't confuse the map posted on the thread with a long-term earthquake hazard map; being in a blue area on the forecast map for tomorrow doesn't mean there isn't a high risk of a strong quake in the next five years.

Yeah I tell my wife that all the time. I majored in geology for the frist three of my many years in college.

There is something called "earthquake weather"...quakes seem to happen when it is a hot day.
