I think people should respect his wishes and let him retire once Bush is out of office. He's stated multiple times that he does not want the presidency.
I'm watching George Allen now. Just starting to learn a bit about him, but have been encouraged by what I've read for the most part. I will not vote for anyone, nor donate money to anyone, nor will I volunteer time to any campaign, if they are the least bit wobbly on illegal aliens. However our citizen only voice in elections may be gone by 2008. For 2006, illegal aliens and immigration will be THE issue for many like myself.
VP Cheney is a devastating debater and a brilliant man....a genius with leadership ability and a plan.
It's a rare combination and a great opportunity for our nation.
My second choice is Frist if he fixes this judiciary filibuster thing.
How many times did George Bush deny he was interested in the presidency before he ran?
