A particularly heinous example was Bob Garfield's sneering, contemptuous dismissal of the claims made by the person who is responsible for the programming on the Armed Forces Network.
He asked her whether or not most of the serviceman and woman actually want to hear two hours of Rush Limbaugh, instead of-presumably-the enlightened voices of reason emanating from such objective sources of information as NPR's On The Media.
His attitude is emblematic of the contempt the fourth estate has for the courageous, intelligent people currently serving in our country's Armed Forces.
