When you live in D.C. you don't exactly know what flyover country thinks. If most of our "elected officials" spent more time going home and listening to people who actually sent them to represent us they would know what we think. Instead they spend most of their time traveling to other countries to play golf or dine with lobbyists. How the hell would they know anything about what we think?!
Besides, the companies hiring lawbreakers are more than likely the large contributors to their campaigns. We don't matter! It's ONLY our tax dollars helping to subsidize these businesses who hire illegals.

Exactly!! It's all about what party they went to, who was there, or what trip they took. Golf and dinner with those special interest lobbyists. The bottom line is that we tax payers are paying for it.
