She's not totally unarmed, but it ain't much. She also doesn't appear to have any EW (Electronic Warfare) gear, and that bothers me.

Yes, but even from just looking at those pictures, it's still better defended than the current gator freighters. On my last ship (can you guess the name....?) about the only thing we could have done would be to have the Marines man the rails with their M-16s.
