Your bias is so clear. You call the IRA terrorists, I point out to you that the IRA threw the three members who committed the murder out of their organization. You responded by saying they are scapegoats. I called you on your statement and asked you to name names as to is really responsible.
You then FALSELY accuse my of supporting terrorism and I reply by asking you what the IRA did to you personally that has you so pissed off at them.

No point in complaining??? The bar these marxist thugs were drinking in was pretty full - plenty of well known shinners were present as well. The brutal murder took place in plain sight of the patrons of this bar. The victim, a very decent father of two, was literally gutted like a fish because he made a smart remark to some shinner bigwig
In any reasonable society, these murderers would be identified and tried. Not here. Imagine this happening in the local pub your home town - a society too scared to go to the police? Remember, this is just one incident of many recently. And yet their support grows because maggots are attracted to shit. Damn them to hell.
Then this guy forgot the most basic rule about bars. NEVER INSULT A DRUNK!! DOING SO WILL GET YOU KILLED!!

Aw Jayzus man now you're losing the run of yourself. So this was just an old fashioned bar brawl a couple of good ol' boys having a fall out over some beers, catch a freakin grip! There were approximately fifty Provos in the bar including the Short Strand's 'enforcers', this gang have been involved in similar stuff for year's, one of them beat a pregnant woman then held a hot iron to her breast, another raped a 14 year old girl, they are well known they have been named elsewhere.
Now the point is that a gang of about twenty were involved in the butchering of the two men and subsequent cleaning up. They orederd the witnesses including prominent Sinn Fein activists not to speak to the police, this order was in the name of the IRA and has been abided by scrupulously by all present. The 'expulsion' (what evidence do we have that they were expelled?) was carried out only after weeks of protest and media attention, they obviously assumed that as in previous actions they could simply get away with it.
Now the point is that this is no one off, it has been going on for years with the full approval of Sinn Fein, a political party which claims the right to sit in government. Now if you cannot see how this whole thing stinks to the very high heavens then frankly sir I have no respect for any opinions that you might hold about any subject.
It doesn't change the fact that if you start shooting your mouth off in a bar you're asking for trouble.

NO, NO, NO! That is not acceptable, even if MacCartney had been shooting his mouth off, as you allege, then what happened next would still be utterly unacceptable in any decent society. If members of the Democratic Party did such a thing in your local bar would you just shrug your shoulders and say 'Hey that's what happens'? I don't think you would, so why is it acceptable for the people of West Belfast?
However just for the record here's what is generally agreed to have happened before the men were filleted, as you clearly are unaware of the full story. The Bar in question was packed with many people, a large percentage of whom were IRA members and Sinn Fein political activists returning from Derry after the annual Bloody Sunday march.
As I mentioned, prominent in the group were the Short Strand 'enforcers' clearly keen to show that they were masters in this turf. MacCartney's friend was approched by one of them and wrongly accused of making a lewd comment towards one of the women in the Sinn Fein group, that it was a case of mistaken identity is now generally accepted by all concerned, though even if he was the guilty party it is irrelevant to what happened next.
Robert MacCartney, out for a quiet Sunday evening pint, was obviously aware of who these guys were and what they were capable of, and tried to placate them by offering to buy the 'offended party' a drink. This just egged the 'enforcers' on, they immediately pounced on MacCartney and his friend and beat them to the floor and then dragged them outside. One of the attackers went into the bar kitchen to get a butcher's knife while another handed out sewer rods. The two unconscious victims were beaten to a pulp to the extent that one of their eyes popped out, then both were sliced up the middle of their abdomens until their intestines spilled out. They were then left for dead in the street while the gang returned to the bar, locked the doors, wiped out the CCTV videos, cleaned the floors and glasses of all forensic traces and ordered the shocked patrons "In the Name of the Irish Republican Army" not to report what they saw.
It is fully agreed that prominent Sinn Fein members were in the bar and saw everything, this has been accepted by Sinn Fein themselves, but they have not come forward to give evidence to the police and have confirmed they will not do so, they have not been reprimanded by their party. Now I ask you, assuming you are a civilised human being who feels that there are certain fundamental decencies underlining society, is this acceptable behaviour by members of a political party who aspire to government?
Now why didn't I think of that!
