Interesting item from today's NY Daily News:
Which married cable news executive who's been toiling in Iraq is said to be back in the arms of his stateside mistress, an also-married master media manipulator who appears on his network? Word is they've both been able to keep the affair from their families, but colleagues have caught on.

Why anyone would care is a total mystery to me.
But if you like that sort of thing, you can always find plenty of it at the Philanderers Forum.

Well, as you said in the title, it's you!
Didn't know you were in cable news, though.
What do I win?
To: Maceman
Because there could be a scandal brewing involving prominent members of the MSM. If that doesn't interest you, then just stick with your network 54 site that for some reason you seem to have at your instant disposal. :-)

What cable news executive has been in Iraq and it sounds like, has recently returned?

That would be my guess too. Her husband, Jamie Rubin, is a CNN employee also.

There sure are a lot of Freepers around here with medical problems, aren't there?

Call it prurient reubber-necking interest. I have been a good boy during my 15 years of marriage. (At least during this one. My first marriage was something else again, I confess.)
At any rate, I think sex and mistress scandals are a big yawn in terms of having any positive political effect. You'd think we would have learned our lesson from Monica-gate, which only boosted Clinton's poll numbers.

The executive is a man; the blurb refers to "his" mistress. The mistress is supposed to be "stateside," and I believe Christiane makes her home in London or Paris.
