The Secret Service was investigating a report Tuesday that a hand grenade was thrown at the stage during President Bush's speech in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.
After Bush left Georgia on Tuesday, the Secret Service was informed by Georgian authorities of a report that a device, possibly a hand grenade, had been thrown within 100 feet of the stage during Bush's speech, hit someone in the crowd and fell to the ground, Secret Service spokesman Jonathan Cherry said.

Look, I tried to tell you in a polite manner that nobody likes a self-appointed buttinsky. From your above rude response I can see that it didn't make an impression.
This is a very important story. I don't want to have to scroll through the hundreds of posts on the various threads regarding this story; it's much more convenient to me, and others, to have a new thread every once in a while. And the Mod's apparently feel likewise, since they didn't lock the thread. Yet you take it upon yourself to jump in and flame someone who (from what I'm reading) made a good faith effort to search for the story before they posted it.
Your original post to BB was rude; hence my response. You object to this thread, yet here you are still hanging around making further rude comments. I reiterate; if you don't like the thread, just do us all a favor and move along. I'm sure that if you camp out on the sidebar for awhile longer you'll find other posters you can jump on.
