Planned Parenthood launches campaign against Pope Benedict XVI

New York, May. 03, 2005 (CNA) - Planed Parenthood has launched a campaign to motivate all of its members and supporters, nominal Catholics and non-Catholics, to send letters to the editor, requesting that Pope Benedict XVI reconsider his “backward views” and change his opinion on sexual morality.

Pope Benedict XVI must be encouraged to “reconsider his dangerously outdated stances on birth control, abortion and sexuality in order to help move the Catholic Church into the 21st century,” reads a memo issued by campaign manager Eve Fox.

“The new Pope's positions on these crucial issues pose a terrible danger to the health of millions of women and girls around the world and undermines efforts to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS,” Fox wrote.

The campaign manager justified this action, saying that the “the Church has tremendous influence over many governments, especially in Latin America, and plays a powerful role in shaping social and political norms around the world.”

Calling him “even more conservative” than Pope John Paul II, Fox told her supporters that Pope Benedict XVI is “against all forms of contraception and opposes the use of condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS.”

Prior to being elected Pope, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger “told Catholics in the U.S. it would be a sin to vote for pro-choice candidates like John Kerry, and urged bishops to deny Kerry Communion. He has also led the Catholic Church's campaign against same-sex marriage and other rights for same-sex couples, including the right to adopt children,” wrote Fox

Planned Parenthood are the folks that has the worst condoms -- most likely to break and therefore creates a market for their abortion mills.

Planned Parenthood receives funding from the Federal Government, from some state governments, and some local governments.

Planned Parenthood also receives significant funding from the United Way -- if give the United Way, you are probably contributing to sex education and abortion clinics and free faulty condoms.

“reconsider his dangerously outdated stances on birth control, abortion and sexuality in order to help move the Catholic Church into the 21st century,”

Doesn't claiming that these stances are outdated imply that at one point they weren't? If so what caused it besides the sudden secularization of the world?

Nice that someone came up with a name for the likes of Leahy, Kerry, Kennedy, Durbin, Mikulski, et al.

Ping -- please use your ping lists -- one thing that can be done is try to stop government funding for Planned Parenthood, its sex education programs -- as well as the fact they advocate that young girls have abortions [without parental consent and be able to have their adult boyfriends transport them across state lines].

"Your holiness, we have received letters from America. An organization named Planned Parenthood demands that you change most of your fundamental beliefs."

"How many letters have we received, my son?"

"Dozens, sir. Almost 100."

"I will pray for them."

Planned Orgyhood is as much a terrorist nest as People For The Amerikan Way, the Amerikan Snivel Liberties Union, and Al Queda. All should be considered as a threat to our sovereignty, and exterminated like cockroaches.

Let 'em waste their resources on this. The Catholic Church knows who it reports to, and it sure ain't the free-sex society.

Note that they claim that he is "even more conservative" than the previous pope. People who have studied Margaret Sanger, realize she was deeply tied to Nazi Germany before World War II.

It is my personal opinion that Margaret Sanger had to abandon her previous organization and form Planned Parenthood because of these strong ties to the plan for the Master Race.

She formed Planned Parenthood in January of 1942 -- just days after the bombing of Pearl Harbor and also just days after the US declared war on Nazi Germany.

Maybe Ms Fox would want us to adopt again the vision of Adolf Hitler for the Master Race -- which Margaret Sanger had for the United States.

Margaret Sanger planned to eliminate blacks, Indians (native Americans) and Catholics as part of her plans to get rid of undesirables.

It is Catholics that are the targets. Planned Parenthood endorsed John Kerry for president (and the fellow from Massachusetts is supposedly a Catholic -- though not a Catholic in good standing according to the laws of the Catholic Church. John Kerry is divorced but re-married without an annulment, and is a strong supporter of abortion and infanticide.)

On top of that, he has the support of cats everywhere.

Planned Parenthood is in for a long day and a short war.

"requesting that Pope Benedict XVI reconsider his “backward views” and change his opinion on sexual morality."

Morality on such issues is TIMELESS and will NEVER change. LOL!!! Planned parenthood is so superficial and immature. They remind me of children.

Pope Benedict XVI must be encouraged to “reconsider his dangerously outdated stances on birth control, abortion and sexuality in order to help move the Catholic Church into the 21st century,” reads a memo issued by campaign manager Eve Fox.

His views? The pope's function is to conserve the deposit of faith entrusted to St. Peter and the Apostles by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Eve Fox needs to take this up with "higher" sources.

I think this is hilarious.

If Planned Parenthood wants to waste its time and money trying to convince the Holy Father to bless abortions, let them.

Less time and money spent on influencing US policy that way.
