He may have been a disgruntled (sp) captain, but if he believed what he was doing, he was a brave one, because I'm sure his career is now over.

One thing I learned the hard way was that if you want a rewarding military experience, one does not critique those above you. They have a million and one ways of getting even.

Dave Yepsen, the Register's political reporter was in the Iowa guard in the 1970s. I'll bet his face is red today.

I served with CPT Baugher in Iraq, although not in his unit I reported to him. He was nothing but an honorable and good man, and if he said something I believe it 100%, now and then.

Those of us who served up north had minimal guidance from higher, and our results were spectacular.

I can judge the man, I was with him, and he passes the test.

I was at my first duty station. When I heard that an IG was coming I said "Great!" I was told by another guy "Be careful. About six months after the IG leaves, bad things wil start happening to people who say negative things." That's what transpired. If it ain't a felony, and you have proof...
