I’m just unconvinced that Sen. Hagel’s world view will get him very far in 2008.

If I've got anything to say about it, it will get him dis-elected as senator. The motto for conservatives in Nebraska in 2008:

"Chuck" Hagel.
"Chuck" is a verb.

It might be clearer if it was "Up-Chuck Hagel," a bit more fitting too. ;-)
