New Catholic Patriarch May Derail Hillary's White House Plans

During the 1980s pope John Paul II worked courageously and relentlessly behind the scenes to topple Polish Communism. Now Cardinal Ratzinger is picking up where John Paul left off, publicly denouncing the scourge of socialism.

After a brief flirtation with compassionate conservatism, Hillary Rodham Clinton has returned to her neo-Marxist ways. On April 19 Senator Clinton introduced the so-called Paycheck Fairness Act, a law that would pressure employers to fatten women’s paychecks, regardless of the number of hours worked or job qualifications.

The former Soviet Union once tried to divorce job productivity from wages. Of course, that removed persons’ incentive for hard work, and economic mayhem was the result. But Hillary is a lawyer, not a historian.

By interesting coincidence, Senator Clinton’s bill was introduced the very same day that, half-way around the globe, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected as the new pope. Within hours he assumed the name Benedict XVI.

Faced with a man of towering intellect and unswerving moral courage, the Leftist media has responded by doing what it does best: cavil, criticize, and complain. All but calling the pope a religious bigot, columnist Andrew Sullivan warned, “And so the Catholic church accelerated its turn toward authoritarianism, hostility to modernity, assertion of papal supremacy, and quashing of internal debate.”

On April 19 Senator Clinton introduced the so-called Paycheck Fairness Act, a law that would pressure employers to fatten women’s paychecks, regardless of the number of hours worked or job qualifications.

I certainly missed hearing this beginners attempt at creating a new law on my evening news. There is a link to then-Cardinal Ratzinger's remarks in which he states and here's a brief clip: "..........How many winds of doctrine we have known in recent decades, how many ideological currents, how many ways of thinking...The small boat of thought of many Christians has often been tossed about by these waves - thrown from one extreme to the other: from Marxism to liberalism, even to libertinism; from collectivism to radical individualism; from atheism to a vague religious mysticism; from agnosticism to syncretism, and so forth. Every day new sects are created and what Saint Paul says about human trickery comes true, with cunning which tries to draw those into error (cf Eph 4, 14). Having a clear faith, based on the Creed of the Church, is often labeled today as a fundamentalism. Whereas, relativism, which is letting oneself be tossed and "swept along by every wind of teaching," looks like the only attitude (acceptable) to today’s standards. We are moving towards a dictatorship of relativism which does not recognize anything as for certain and which has as its highest goal one’s own ego and one’s own desires...However, we have a different goal: the Son of God, true man..........."

It certainly is all about Hillary's Ego, I am clear on that fact. She and her sycophantic co-horts actions clearly define the word cunning. It remains disturbingly fascinating to me that since she was (somehow) elected the jr. Senator of N.Y., she consistently uses the oldest trick in the book against the Republican Party, and that is 'blatantly distracting someone from your own obvious flaws by putting them on the defensive with an outrageous, unfounded and prejudiced claim'.

I've stopped counting the number of times she's has accomplished this feat in speeches since she left the White House. How it is allowed to occur on such a regular basis irritates me to no end. She is a consistent Mis-Leader and needs to be refuted regularly! This is my first posted article.

John Paul II the Great was instrumental in freeing eastern Europe from Communism, perhaps Pope Benedict will be equally instrumental in freeing the rest of the world from socialism and its attendant ills and perversions.....

Uh, I thought it was a given that the Pope was the enemy of the Devil. Therefore, this really is not news!

Make that an enemy, many of us also profess to be Satan's enemies; perhaps not as powerful as the Pope, but enemies just the same.

God Bless

Oops, you are correct, I didn't mean to imply that he was the only enemy.
