I don't at all agree with JimRob's position on gay rights, but since I haven't been banned yet at nearly one year and close to 1,500 posts, JimRob must not need robots like you to force your definition of a true conservative upon me and the other Libertarian-leaning FReepers (and there are many of us on here).
As a Libertarian you support giving rights to heterosexuals who engage in same-sex? Do you believe these people are some sort of htherto unknown third or fourth gender or some bizarre new race of people? They are none of those things. They are simply males and females who act upon impulses in the very same way as some males and females act upon impulses to rut on children, to steal, to lie, and so on. If you look into the psychology of homosexuals, you'll see they always lack impulse control.
The real agenda is not to give them rights but to hammer everyone down to the ground floor level where we are the 'Same." This is what socialists do, and the entire 'rights for people who commit sodomy' agenda is being driven by socialists.
Eventually we'll be stripped of all gender in the name of equality.
