In the Florida case, 23 people were charged with criminal fraud... I live in Florida. I wonder what county these people were in? (Counties are very important in Florida, probably more so than anywhere except NY and CA.)

Those who sell false ID ought to be treated as accomplices to any crime committed in which the false ID was used.

I laugh when I read stuff like this. Because of Identity theft 20 years ago I cannot get a License in the State of CT. However Illegals seem to get Licensed just fine.

FL is pretty hardcore about the docs you need to get a license now. I can easily see why you would need someone on the inside to get you a license illegally.
Not that it will happen, but I would hope these DMV folks do some serious time.

Broward, Palm Beach and Orange have had similar problems in the past. I knew two Haitian illegals I worked with in High School who had drivers licenses issued in Palm Beach County.

>>-In the Florida case, 23 people were charged with criminal fraud and an additional 29 people taken into custody on immigration violations. Of the more than 2,000 licenses issued,
36 were for commercial drivers to operate trucks, and about six to transport hazardous materials, officials said. << Keep your eyes on the plate.
