Mr. Chris Matthews
Host, MSNBCs Hardball with Chris Matthews
400 North Capitol Street, Suite 850
Washington, DC 20001
Dear Chris,
We understand that you will be airing tonight on Hardball, the famous segment from the Republican National Convention in which former Senator Zell Miller challenged you to a duel. It was a dramatic moment in television and were so pleased that you have been able to use the segment as a promo to boost the shows ratings for the last 9 months.
We are even more pleased that you will be playing it again tonight as it will be a great publicity hit for Senator Millers new book A Deficit of Decency.
The only question is, in Senator Millers absence tonight, will you tell the whole story as to why he was angry with your comments? In chapter 6 (Hardball Huff) of A Deficit of Decency, Zell explains that the reason he challenged you is that before he came on the set you claimed he was an old time seggy.
Will you renounce your baseless claim that Senator Miller is a segregationist?
As you may know, following Senator Millers challenge, CNBC took and online poll in which they asked who would win the duel. You, of course, received 14% of the vote while Senator Miller garnered 86%.
We wonder if that will be part of the discussion tonight.
Sincerely,
Cecil Stanton

Sounds like Zell's publisher is just as feisty as Zell!!!!
Good for them--
I hear tell Zell has the dueling pistols to back it up.
How far into the show does the segment appear? I've just switched to the rerun . . . now 18 mintures into the hour.

The look on Chrissy's face is amazing...in my dreams.
Chris Matthews is a fraud
ZOTABLE OFFENSE! What a cheater. He knew how bad that made him look, so he didn't want to remind the audience of it, if they were seeing it for the 2nd time, and he didn't want new viewers to see it at all. What a fraud. . . . . not to mention COWARD! You're right.
Chrissy is just used to what the MSM has been getting away with for years. Now that we have access to transcripts through the internet, they are being exsposed

I simply love it. P*SS on Crissy-boy. A bigger wimp has never been seen.
Yer a great poster to find some of the stuff you do. (I've been noticing). If yer a guy, ya might become a Bud of mine. If yer of the female persuasion, I might be in love (just don't squeal to my darling wife)

Big time!
Guess again, dear! :)

hehehehe .. I guessing Chrissy hasn't made a comment about this poll??
FReepers who saw this say that Chrissy did some creative editing and left out the comments that would cast himself in a bad light.
Chrissy sure can dish it out but he can't take it, not even when "it" is his own words coming back to bite him.
Chrissy is an insult to girlie-men, if you ask me.
I piss on the MSM!

If not for the promos, what would Spitball's ratings be?
