Bah! It pales compared to the new Battlestar Gallactica. Then again, every SciFi ever made for TV pales compared to it.

With the exception of Babylon 5 which I think it the best Sci - Fi show ever.

Not quite sure I'd go that far, but it is the best thing on TV right now -- SciFi or otherwise.

B5. Now that was a good Science Fiction show.

Crusade could have been.

Star Trek, wagon train in Spaaaaaaceeeeeeee.

The various Star Treks (TNG, the station, Voyager, etc.) lived on the hype from the first series. People kept watching hoping they would get it right. Sometimes they did but most of the time it was too PC.

The producers/writers forgot that the other captains (vice Kirk and the rest of the Enterprise crew when promoted) in all the Star Trek movies were wimps (watch em and see what I mean) and cast those captains as the new leaders. Kirk looks good because he is willing to make a decision without referring to higher authority or considering how it will look on his next evaluation.

BG2 looks good. Do not have cable or satellite. One show is not worth the money and 2000 channels of crap. Bought the DVD of the opener, probably will buy the first season too.

BG is groundbreaking, I think they've set the bar for sci-fi for the next few years.

I don't like the new Battlestar. Hubby does, but I don't.

Have you forgotten Babylon 5? Just becasue it wasn't turned into an never ending multiple-franchise and it stuck to its 5 year arc is no reason to dis it.

I love the new BSG, but Space Above and beyond was a great Sci FI show too back in the day.

Yes, the new Battlestar Galactica is one of the best Sci-fi series I have watched.

Sorry to disagree, but I think BatGal is simply 7th Heaven with laser shots.

You obviously have not seen the sci-fi-anime-mecha-pop culture parody series "Megas XLR" on Cartoon Network. ;p
