REALLY?
Don't know where you are from or how long you have lived in Vermont, but all three of your choices, are "conservative," and if you think for one minute, ANY Conservative is going to be elected to National Office, I fear you are are way too optimistic.
Are you aware that Vermont is the ONLY state in which Bush did worse in 04 than he did in 2000?
Oh yes, we have a Repub Governor, but he's just another RINO!
As an aside, don't be surprised if Jumpin Jim runs for Gov. next time around.
Don't know how old you are, but I'm a Vietnam Vet and grew up in and around Burlington during the 50's.
Then, Vermont was fairly conservative and Republican.
Then, along came Bernie and his band of "progressives" (read: socialist) and it was all down hill from there.
As for me, I've had it. As circumstances are such that I no longer "have" to stay here, I am leaving. Read my tag line and I really feel for you and the other 9 conservatives who live in Vermont; only 8 after I leave. LOL
Has anyone noticed that the Dems seem to be trying to move to and take over a series of small, unpopulated states? Vermont, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Montana? That's 8 Senate seats that they can gain a lock on with only a few hundred thousand immigrants from Massachussets, New York and California. I think we better keep an eye on that trend, and work to counteract it, or the majority in the Senate may be very temporary.
It's also happening in more populous states like Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia, it's just that there are enough indiginous true Americans in those states that the tree-huggers haven't become a majority yet. But they are closing the gap.
I think we need a program to repopulate Texans, Oklahamans and southerners in general to lands that need their influence.

There was another, Oregon
