Has anyone noticed that the Dems seem to be trying to move to and take over a series of small, unpopulated states? Vermont, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Montana? That's 8 Senate seats that they can gain a lock on with only a few hundred thousand immigrants from Massachussets, New York and California. I think we better keep an eye on that trend, and work to counteract it, or the majority in the Senate may be very temporary.
It's also happening in more populous states like Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia, it's just that there are enough indiginous true Americans in those states that the tree-huggers haven't become a majority yet. But they are closing the gap.
I think we need a program to repopulate Texans, Oklahamans and southerners in general to lands that need their influence.
They seem like good guys, but do you really think there's any chance that a majority of VT voters will consider any Republican while we have a 55-seat majority?
"Are you aware that Vermont is the ONLY state in which Bush did worse in 04 than he did in 2000?"
There was another, Oregon
I was under the impression that Vermont was pretty much a lost cause liberal toilet, like New Jersey, Massachusetts, and California? Are you saying a non-scumbag can win there?
One Freeper JERK comments on the looks of Rich Tarrant who could buy and sell him without working up a sweat.
Another says the seat is Bernie Sanders without question!
Another asks me how long I have lived here and he's a Viet Nam "VET" and is bugging out because he can't put up with the Sanders era BS.
Sport! I'm a Korea Vet....I didn't bug out! I ain't leaving VT after 30 years here because the Lib-Socialist-Progs made some gains in Burlington.
The worm is turning and if you and "Vermonter" want to go stick your heads in sand...so be it.
You folks confuse Burlington-Chittenden County with the rest of the state.....There are a helluva a lot more right-thinking folks than the media will recognize.
Some of the folks who responded to this post...which I offered as a small positive step in the right direction for Vermont...ought to think first and comment later!
