He's some sort of liason right now between NASA and Naval Aviation Systems, so he must have some sort of hand in with the Navy flyers. It's funny cause his son is in the Army, in Afghanistan right now, flying Apache Longbows. Gerry REALLY wanted to fly helos, and there was even a joint training program going on between the AF and the Army when he graduated from the Academy, but the man in charge of the flight choices wouldn't let him go. He's flying vicariously through Alex right now, though, and is very envious of him!
