Barbara Stock is blathering nonsense. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world (about 1 billion followers) because it's okay to hate and be a Muslim. As long as you think you are doing "God's" work by killing infidels, it's very attractive to human nature. But, then so are some offshoots of "Christianity." And the OT teachs an eye-for-eye as a rule.

Sure, Mohammed rejected Jesus as the Son of God, but so did the Jews. At Jamnia, in 90 AD, the rabbis ordered Jews to curse the name of Jesus of Narazreth for all generations. That is conveniently "forgotten" nowadays.

Chirstianity was not united when it came to resisting Islam. Most of the Crusades ended up plundering and killing other Christians. When the Orthodox Christians resisted the Ottomans, the Catholics sat and did nothing -- until the Turks showed up before Vienna.

IIRC, the Jews do not believe Jesus is the Son of God and are still waiting for the Saviour to be born. They did reject Jesus and were responsible for His Crucifixion, but this had to be to fulfill prophecy.

However, this article is spot-on with regards to the contrast of the teaching of Jesus verses the teachings of mohammad.

Jesus taught love, mohammad taught hate. If the 'voice' in mo's head what not Satan, it was one of his closest demons.

Are you sure of this? I have read recently that Christianity is vastly outpacing Islam in the world. Africa alone has more Christian converts that Islam world-wide.

The problem is one of double counting. Since it is a capital offense to abandon Islam, Muslims who convert to Christianity do not make a lot of noise about it and are still listed as Muslims by the local Muslim communities.
