That's right. Mohammed is a demonic idol and Allah is their non-existent moon god. Humans are so easily deceived, aren't we????

Without prayer, Kosta, NOTHING will be accomplished. I believe we will see a day when many Muslims will turn their back on Allah and receive Jesus. It may not be tomorrow but it's coming. There's a great revival ahead of us for a while. Then the wrath of God gets poured out on the unbelievers. We live in interesting times.

I believe God had a purpose for our being in Iraq--to bring Christ to the Middle East and to break the back of Islam. I'm not sure our timing was right, however. I think we went in too soon, but I'm not in charge (darn it). Peace will come but it's with a great price. It won't last forever because we know that Russia and Arabs will attack Israel at some point and then all bets are off.

I do not share your beliefs. No offense, but your form of Christianity is unrecognizable to me.

I'm a born-again believer who believes that Jesus is Lord, he's part of the Trinity, he died on the cross for our sins, rose again and is on his way back. Simple enough.

Except for the born-again (that much I could tell from your posts), we are on the same sheet of music. But that first part may be what's obscuring the issue. :-)

What is your problem with born-again? I have asked the Lord Jesus to come into my life to help me live it the way HE wants me to. His Holy Spirit is within me to do just that. What does born-again mean to you,Kosta? I really am interested. M

What does born-again mean to you,Kosta?

It's not the meaning of the words -- all those who are properly baptized are "born again," but it's the way some who call themselves "born again" have a certain mindset that is unrecognizable to me. No offense please.

I have asked the Lord Jesus to come into my life to help me live it the way HE wants me to

This is what I mean. You have to live the way YOU want -- following Jesus should be a choice, your choice, not something He decides for you.

No, I want to live the life HE wants me to live. He has a plan for my life and that's the plan I want to follow. I've lived the way I've wanted to live and it hasn't been pretty. I've made the choice to live HIS way, not my own. I can't achieve righteousness and holiness and purity in my own strength. That HAS to come from Him.

I don't believe you can be born-again just through baptism. I think that's where we differ. Being born-again is a choice you make at an age of understanding. I know that's where catholics and liturgical churches differ from protestants and born-againers.
