AARP's Tax Hypocrisy!

Fact #1: In 1994 AARP was forced in a settlement with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service to pay $135 million dollars.

Even while negotiating this settlement and while not paying the taxes that force them into the settlement:

Fact #2: The AARP made it possible for Social Security benefits to be taxed – first in 1984 then again in 1993 by refusing to work to eliminate this tax.

Fact #3: The AARP allowed for Social Security payroll tax increases on hardworking Americans (more than 18 over the last four decades).

Fact #4: The AARP was taking millions in taxpayer dollars to help fund their operations (more than $1 BILLION dollars in taxpayer money in just the last 14 years!)

Let us not forget that AARP is one of the shrillest groups demanding the banning of private firearms.
