Mexico Investigates Allegations Against Minutemen

MEXICO CITY Mexican authorities are investigating reports that 13 migrants may have been apprehended by U-S civilians guarding the Arizona-Mexico border against illegal crossers.

Mexican Deputy Foreign Secretary for North America Geronimo Gutierrez says he's received reports that 13 Mexicans were "detained and referred to the Border Patrol" by the volunteers.

Volunteers participating in the "Minuteman Project," began patrolling April 1st for migrants crossing the Arizona-Mexico boundary.

The area is the most active for illegal immigrants cross into the U-S.

Gutierrez says they're doing an investigation in each one of the cases.

A spokesman for the Minuteman Project says he didn't know anything about the accusations that migrants had been detained improperly.

About time to send the Marines back down Mexico way to establish a more favorable government, i.e. one not riddled with corruption and anti-American hacks.

This is BS in every regard.
1. That it even happened
2. That the Mexican government has the balls to get involved
3. That our government would entertain their complaint.

God bless the Minutemen. They've clearly proven manning the border stems the tide. Where is the George Bush that I thought was going to give us back America?

The Mexican government can't take care of what happens in Mexican. They need to keep their noses on the south side of the border.
I guess the big question is, "who the hell cares what the Mexican government thinks?"

I am getting sick of the Mexican government doing and saying the things they have. What's worse is our government does EVERYTHING to make them happy. I can't stand these lying corrupt scumbags in the Mexican government. I'm also sick of our politicians who refuse to do anything about this.

Bush has done nothing when it comes to this issue. He's a complete failure when it comes to immigration. We should completely close our border using our military, deport all illegals, and stop all aid to the Mexican government. The people who say we can't do this are ignorant. It's ridiculous that we allow that corrupt POS nation to have so much control over us.

13 migrants? The writer just cannot help himself. He knows his usage of inaccurate terminology is inflammatory.

If this gets ugly it won't be between Mexico & the Minutemen, it'll be between the Minutemen and some federal jackbooted thugs working for the elitist, ruling class, who benefit from the political payoffs from doing nothing about this, and who are entrenched within the central government.

The right to make a citizen's arrest is constitutionally protected. Investigate away.

What part of "illegals" does the msm not understand?

At least we turned them over (going on the assumption it has an ounce of truth) rather than beheading them and playing soccer with their heads like other countries do with foreigners.
