Unless you're talking about throwing peaches at these judges, I don't think it's going to happen.

"For these and related reasons, every federal judge involved in the execution of Terri Schiavo has violated his/her office as judge and has committed the high crime of being an accessory to murder. Therefore every judge so tainted MUST be impeached by Congress and removed from the bench."
Please inform us when this takes place. lol

I agree with this guy's sentiment, but it won't happen. Remember that the legislature sided with the courts. They could have passed a law that stopped the Schiavo execution in its tracks, but instead they passed a law which did nothing, and which they knew would be declared unconstitutional. Now the guys who voted to let her die are going to impeach the judges who also did it? Don't think so.
Another important point is that here in Fla., our judges are subject to retentiona elections. So it was the voters who put these guys on the bench, and of course, the legislature is not likely to impeach judges who can be thrown out by the voters anyway.
We need Congressman who will vote for conservative judges, and who will hold the judiciary's feet to the fire. We need civil disobedience.

Not only am I convinced that judicial impeachment applies here, I am convinced that it applies to every federal judge in the chain from the district court judge who first received the case under the act signed by President Bush, through the appeals judges of the 11th Circuit, to all nine sitting members of the U.S. Supreme Court, with the exception of the one or two judges that bucked the system. Although I agree with everything this writer said it's doubtful much will happen. These judges will go on abusing their power and Congress and the Executive will go on taking it.

In spite of what others might say, this opinion is absolutely right in its clear and correct separation of life over ritualistic procedures of the courts.
Shockingly, to those of us who believe in upholding law and rights ... Terri's life was disposable ... her forgotten and purposefully overlooked rights, so clearly mandated by the Bill of Rights, Constitution and 14th Amendment were set aside on "hearsay evidence" which no other court allows and which if EVER uttered, MIGHT have been a casual utterance and far from a declaration of intent.
She was heartlessly disposed of due to the decisions of "courts" and "judges" who preferred the pomp of privilege and procedure of their robes to the protective mantles of our American values ... which provide, or are expected to provide due protection for human life itself.

This is excellent!!It's the dumbest thing that's been written on the Schiavo case so far, primarily because it is completely disconnected from reality.

This guy hits on exactly the one point that I see-- how in God's name did we reach a point where a CIVIL court can order the death of an innocent person? It's simply monstrous. It's an abomination.

For these and related reasons, every federal judge involved in the execution of Terri Schiavo has violated his/her office as judge and has committed the high crime of being an accessory to murder. Therefore every judge so tainted MUST be impeached by Congress and removed from the bench.Impeachment is a nice way of the legislature to slap the hands of those elected or appointed officials who screw up. The end result, if they are convicted, is that they are reprimanded or removed from office.
What the judges did in the Terri Schiavo case, as indicated at the end of the article, was that they were accessories to murder. Except for Judge Greer, that is. Judge Greer not only solicited a murder but he ordered it!!! His order of Feb 25, 2005 stated:
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that absent a stay from the appellate courts, the guardian, Michael Schiavo, shall (Note he didn't say 'may', or 'can', but SHALL) cause the removal of nutrition and hydration from the ward, Theresa Schiavo, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005.
Note also that Greer's order said nothing about feeding tubes! She was ordered to death regardless of whether she could eat on her own or not. Law enforcement even arrested those who tried to bring food and drink to her during the execution.
No, impeachment is not the answer for these sinister SOB's. They need to join Scotty Peterson since what they did is no better or worse than what he did......
Question: How differently would Judge Greer have been treated if he went into Terri's room at 2:50p.m. on Feb 25, 2005 and put a gun to her head and shot her dead considering that when he used his pen at that exact minute he accomplished the same end???????
