We are reading conflicting reports.
There is chaos in the Holy See.
The Holy Father has not been emballed.
A decision, contra yesterday's reports, regarding where John Paul the Great is to be buried has not been made.
His last will has not been read.
I fear a power struggle is commencing.
Why else would the will have not been read yet.
Chaotic times are approaching, I fear a long conclave, and I fear most a time of great despair.

Can anyone confirm #5? If true, that is disturbing.

It is most wise to speak as little as possible on matters you know nothing about.
If you are a Cardinal, I apologize for my presumption.

I think you mean "embalmed" and they don't "embalm" popes.
"I fear a power struggle is commencing."
not to belittle your concern, but I think you should take a few deep breaths and relax...after all the Church is overseen by God. Have a little faith in God and everything will "come out in the wash"... the Church has survived for 2000 years of wars, heresies and scandals; I think the Church can manage this.

I fear a power struggle is commencing. Chill out. Get back on your meds.
The only "power struggle" will be something called a "conclave". It's nothing to be scared of unless you're French.

Do yourself a favor and stop reading and listening to the AP, the networks and the New York Times. They are doing all they can to sow discontent and despair among the Catholic faithful, in an open attempt to divide us from the Church so they can subvert the Church with their far-left agenda.

I fear a long conclave You may well be right on that point. Two-thirds support is required to elect the new pope. However, recent rule changes stipulate that if the new pope is not chosen after about the 12th day of the conclave, the threshold for election is reduced to only a simple majority. When I read that, I wondered if some might not wish to draw out the conclave to that point, in the hopes of forestalling having to settle for a compromise candidate.
