AARP is just an insurance company. Nothing more

Actually, for many (most?) of its members, it's a source of travel-related discounts. Nothing more.

AARP seems to have adopted Farm Bureau's format, becomming a profitable spokesman for a particular group while acting like a non-profit organization.

AARP has become a liberal organization that keeps people dependent on the federal government. Social Security reform would allow the people to free themselves from the bondage.
To the liberals, it would turn back their socialist agenda by decades. They'll fight tooth and nail to keep the people financially imprisoned by the feds, and I hope they lose that battle.

Bill Crystal also said that they are the most cash-flush non-profit on the planet.
