Social Security reform wouldn't affect senior citizens anyway, so why should AARP get involved at all? The reform is to help the next generation from "eating cat food."

Why would the AARP want the kids to grow old with that kind of poverty?
Could it just be AARP fearing a loss of political power and damning the young to the same fates as those eating cat food and in poverty now?
Could they be acting out of self concern, rather than a real concern for the American people?
D'ya think? D'ya think they might be trying to protect them selves?
