Here's a solution. Simply give everyone in America $1,000,000 and turn them loose with it. Everybody starts on a level playing field.(tongue planted firmly in cheek)
That was a great article. Income disparities between sexes and races happen for many reasons.
I took the engineering track in college, starting at community college, in south Mississippi, no less. A lot of my class-mates were engineering majors, comp-sci majors, physics majors and math majors. There were no black students in my classes and only two females.

Isn't it a fact that white males tend to major in disciplines which are more difficult but pay more?Examples include business,engineering,mathmatics,computer science,...Whereas minorities and females overwhelmingly choose fields in the liberal arts?Could this at least explain some of the disparity?Isn't it odd that this factor is very rarely mentioned in these expose's?What's the difference in pay between say an electrical engineer vs a social worker?
