Look, the best thing we can do is to MAKE THE SENATE do their job: put judges who respect the Constitution on the bench.

That's the key. If this tragic event does not spur them on to nominating and then supporting until they are seated Constitutionalist judges who revere life, our support of the Republican party will be in vain.

I agree with you and I sense the frustration of others. This is not the answer. We must look forward and do what is needed to protect individual liberty, life and freedom.

That means good judges at the local level not just federal. The people that need to go here are in the Florida Senate and also Judge Greer.

The other Fed judges, I don't know. They were just rubber stamping the process. I don't think the Congress had directed a clear mandated order to perform the de novo review.

I may be wrong, but then again, my heart ain't right today. I'm truly saddened by the suffering of Terri's family.

I don't think so, it has become quite clear to me that several remedies are necessary, the first being changing the law regarding life time appointments. It leads to an aristocracy and judicial hubris on both sides of the ball.

The second thing I would suggest is an amendment to the Constitution allowing two thirds of a vote of Congress to overrule the SCOTUS.

Nothing I suggested makes the judges susceptible to political pressure, they just get term limited and are subject to veto power.
