...a Boston EMS spokesman said an ambulance responded to a call for a ``woman down''at 5:20 p.m. Monday.

OK, but who was the 'woman'? (yeh, I know. I'm not sposed to ask that question.)

Course, it is entirely possible that Patrick didn't learn about it until the wee hours & just assumed that the incident had just happened.

Constance Bacon was walking home from the gym in a driving rain Monday, when she spotted a woman lying on the sidewalk...

I kinda doubt that she was walking home from the gym at 3:30AM. But that's the time I heard reported all along. But 3:30AM doesn't jive with a person, a woman coming home from a gym. It does jive with a drunk lying on the street in need of help though.

She was transferred from Tufts New England Medical Center to Massachusetts General Hospital. Maybe that is adding to the confusion.

Who knows ... it's typical Kennedy media coverage.
