Good post. Pity most in government are going to ignore it.
Two important points:
The culture of death has flourished for two primary reasons. The silent consent of the church and the misuse of our courts. Perhaps, the plight of Terri Schiavo will finally build some backbone into our Executive and Legislative branches of government once again.
and
With the advancement of abortion, sodomy, and now the execution through starvation of Terri Schiavo, the civil government of America continues to betray its sacred trust and deny the very purpose of their existence.

This should go on a "The Sky Is Falling" ping list.
Yes, and it will get worse as the left scares people over the coming years with the 'scarcity of resourses' propaganda. Which will include everything from SS to water.
Terri is not being murdered - she is being allowed to die to be with God, instead of hooked up to an artificial creation of man. It seems everyone is clinging to the physical, and not spiritual, aspect of her being. I'm sure Terri would like to be at peace with her Eternal Father; it's her parents who sadly can't let go.
"The culture of death has been steadily marching in this nation since the infamous Roe vs. Wade Decision in 1973."
Interesting to note that the "culture of death" has resulted in thousands of fewer murders, rapes and assaults in the years since 1973.
People tell themselves this because they want to deny what is really being done to Terri. This Judge has denied the parent's motion to give Terri food and water by mouth! Exactly what "artificial creation of man" is that -- a spoon? If this is not murder then nothing is. This order is not only illegal it is immoral and no American citizen should sleep well with a judge being able to issue such an order and, what is worse, not having it rejected out of hand by elected officials and ordinary, decent people. Somehow I don't think Teddy Roosevelt would have taken such a order lying down.
This precedent is frightening and sickening and I hope that one day the American people will look back to this ordeal and wonder how we could ever have tolerated it, similarly to how we now wonder how our predecessors could have tolerated slavery. I do not think we will be judged kindly.
Except for the 50 million or so slaughtered in the abortion mills. Very convenient to forget about them.
What are you doing here on FR?
PING
Next you cut yourself, don't use a bandaid or bandage, because unless you get yours from a 'Bandaid Bush' growing in the wild, they are an 'artificial creation of man'.
Welcome, Newbie.
Oh really?! And why is that? Go ahead and mock, it just shows you're ignorance. Here's a graph showing murder rates per/100k citizens of different countries. Notice the USA has a 'problem'. Yes, the sky is falling.
