This came from a song "Freeze a Yankee" played a lot by Dan Patrick in Houston.
It was the 55 MPH speed limit that started it.
It was a 45 RPM and the flip side was "Roll on Big Muddy".
Drive 75 and freeze them alive.
Freeze a Yankee.
